Create an API-key quota

Add an app-specific quota directly from an API key detail page.

This is the fastest path for app-specific usage control.

Open API Keys.

Open the application key.

Scroll to Quotas.

Create a new quota from that section.

Confirm Owner Type is API Key or that the key is selected as the owner.

Choose the metric, period, timezone, and limit.

Keep Active checked.

Save the quota.

Run a test request and review the quota window.

Monitor a quota

Review quota windows and requests counted against a quota.
